Hope 08 is a national, year-long initiative that is designed to encourage
and facilitate word-and-action Christian mission.
The churches in Aylesbury
along with thousands of others around the UK will be working together on a
whole host of events and projects that will be distributed throughout the
coming year.
There will be plenty of things for us to get involved in as
individuals and as churches as we announce to our town that there is hope!
Thinking of putting on a HOPE event for neighbours & friends?
The resource book (picture left) is available to borrow from the
church office.
We know that you will be inspired by what you read in this book and
that you will find something that you and your friends would like to
organise during HOPE 08.
There are lots of HOPE promotional items available that you can use to
advertise your event and also use during it.

They include: balloons, varying types of posters, invitations, t shirts, key
fobs, badges, fridge magnets, window stickers, an outreach booklet and an
Easter Hope St. Mark's Gospel and
more....There is a resource box in the church office and this will have a
sample of some of the items that are available.

Hope NEWS is a new evening news
programme which will be broadcast throughout the year on
UCB TV and via
the internet to share the good news of what God is doing across the
nation in peoples lives: inspiring, motivating and informing.

Friday focus - from the World Prayer Centre
Friday Focus began in 2007 to lay a prayer foundation for Hope08.
Friday Focus invites Christians to pray on Fridays for our friends,
neighbours, families, work colleagues, communities, churches and nations, to
