Car parking arrangements

There is a car park to the rear of the church building, but you are advised to arrive early as this fills up fairly quickly. There are 3 disabled car parking spaces in the car park, alongside the hut at the back.

Please note that the bay by the side entrance to the church is now a drop-off only. Please do not leave your car in this bay.

If the church car park is already full when you arrive, (look for the red sign), continue a further 200m along Penn Rd to the Grand Central Building Site where, on Sundays, visitors to the church are permitted to use the car park within the green and white boarding there.

Arriving by foot from town centre (5 minutes walk)

From the town centre, follow signs to the railway station. To the right of the station (or on your left if you have just exited the station) is a footbridge. Take this footbridge over the railway. From the footbridge continue on the footpath, crossing over a brook. After crossing the brook take the footpath on the left, following the brook for 200m. This will bring you out by the new homes on the Grand Central Development.  Turn right for 20m, which will bring you out onto Penn Road. Turn left and Southcourt Baptist Church is 200m on the left.

Arriving by Train

Mon - Sat: Trains (Chiltern Line) run every half hour from London Marylebone to Aylesbury (55 minutes)
On Sundays there is often a direct service from London via Amersham but check with Chiltern Railways before departure. [Tel 08456 005 165 (07.00-20.00)] Alternatively, take the Underground to Amersham (Metropolitan Line) then take a Chiltern Line train to Aylesbury. From the station follow foot directions as above.

Then at the second set (just 20 yards or so further on) get into the inside of the 2 right turn lanes, bear right (following signs for Stoke Mandeville Hosp) and then get into the left hand lane (still following signs for Stoke Mandeville Hosp), over railway bridge and zebra crossing. Now, no longer following signs for SM Hosp, take right hand fork controlled by traffic lights and over a second railway bridge. Once over this railway bridge, you come onto a roundabout - Chestnut Crescent. Take 5th exit (Nightingale Road). After a sharp left hand bend, this road becomes Penn Road.
