Our Mission Field

All people are called to be daily witnesses to Jesus Christ. For Southcourt Baptist Church there are four strategic dimensions to our mission.

1. Southcourt Estate

We seek to reach the local estate in which SBC is situated by engaging in activities that speak of, and demonstrate, the love of Jesus.

2. Aylesbury Town and Surrounding Area

SBC seeks to be a resource to the many surrounding villages in encouraging and supporting outreach. We also, along with other evangelical churches, desire to see Aylesbury transformed by the Good News of Jesus Christ.

3. National

As a church we also want to contribute and support national organisations that proclaim the gospel of Christ. We support RUN (Reaching the Unchurched Network) which is based in our premises, Christians in Sport, Prison and Hospital Ministries. SBC is part of the Baptist Union of Great Britain.

4. Internationally

A Mission Board oversees people who serve the Lord within various missionary organisations. You can find links to the websites of some of these organisations by clicking here.

Is God calling you to mission?

If the answer is "Yes" or "I think so", whether for a few weeks or for life, here or overseas, then the Mission Board exists to pray with you about it. Please make contact with us as early as possible, directly or via the church office or welcome desk.
