New Horizons

Open countryside towards the horizon

New Horizons is for men and women in the 55+ age group - there is no upper age cut off point!! . Those who come are mainly from our church, but we are delighted when others join us too. We seek to provide a happy atmosphere for times of fellowship and encouragement. An important part of the group is our outreach, and it's good to welcome other friends and relatives to our events. We have an event each month and these are very varied. We do such things as a theatre trip, a walk and pub lunch, a visit to a famous castle or National Trust Property.

During the past year we have had a varied programme including a visit to HMS Belfast, our Christmas Dinner at the Holiday Inn attended by 70 people, Swan Lake on Ice at The Wycombe Swan, lunch at The Fountain Harvester followed by a visit to the little-known Milton Keynes Museum and then tea and cakes!!

Our programme till the end of the year is now underway, and all 55+ friends are very welcome to join us if they are mobile.

Our aim is to be kind to each other, tender-hearted, forgiving one another. Eph 4 v 31.
