New Horizons is for men and women in the 55+ age group - there is no upper
age cut-off point!! Those who come are mainly from our church, but we are
delighted when others join us too.
We seek to provide a happy atmosphere for times of friendship and
encouragement. An important part of the group is our outreach, and it's good to
welcome other friends and relatives to our events.
We aim to put on an event most months, and these tend to be quite varied. For
example we do such things as a theatre trip, a walk and pub lunch, a visit to a
famous castle or National Trust Property.
Our aim is to "... be kind to each other, tender-hearted,
forgiving one another..." Eph 4 v31.
We are again very grateful to the William Harding Trust for the grant towards
coach hire.
For more information, please contact Viv C or Peter and Marjorie W.

Another National Property that we feel deserves a
visit. This time it is
Snowshill Manor and Gardens situated near Broadway
in the Cotswolds. The gardens consist of “outdoor
rooms”, with simple, colourful plants tumbling down
terraces and round byres and ponds. The house was owned
by Charles Paget Wade, whose family motto was “Let
nothing perish”. He obviously didn’t as there are 22,000
unusual objects, including a large collection of
bicycles in the rafters.

Jansel Square at 9.00am

Did you come on our last
London Walk? We have planned another one, this time

London, and much more. We will go by coach to St.Pauls,
and have time for sightseeing and some lunch. The walk
will begin at 2.30pm and will last about 2 hours. There
will be opportunities for a rest on the way! Maximum

The last programme suggested you save for this outing.
We hope you have done so, as we have booked a coach to

amazing cost of £12.00. You couldn’t do it in your car
for that price! There will be a coffee stop on the way,
and we shall aim to be back in Aylesbury by 7pm. A
little later than usual, but I’m sure it will be worth
it!
